What you can do on the YBS app

Our app gives you quick, easy, and secure access to view and manage your savings when it suits you best. Here’s what you can do with it: 
View and download monthly statements to keep track of your money. 
Check your interest rates so you know if you're getting the best deal. 
Track your savings goals by reviewing all the transactions in and out of your account. 
Open most savings accounts we offer in the app, without having to log into the website.
Convenient and secure money transfers directly from your device.
For extra security, you can only use one device at a time.
Secure login using your fingerprint, face recognition, or a passcode.

How do I get the YBS app?

To manage your accounts on our website and app, you'll need to register for online access.  You must be 16 years old or over. 

If you open your account online or already have an online account with us, you can download the YBS app today.

If you open your account in branch, by post or over the phone you can register for online access the day after your savings account is open.

To register, you'll need:

Any of your YBS account numbers.
Access to the phone number that we have on your account.

If you do not have access to the phone number, you'll need your national insurance number or email address. 

Once you've registered for online access, you can download the YBS app.

Is the YBS app secure?

I'm a mortgage customer, can I use the YBS app?

No, you can only manage your savings accounts on the app. To view and manage your mortgage account, you'll need to use our website.

My YBS app is locked, how do I unlock it?

If you type your passcode incorrectly 3 times, you'll need to set up your app again. It will ask you for your customer number and date of birth as it did the first time you set it up. 

I've changed my device, do I need to register the app again?

Yes, if you change your device or uninstall the YBS app, you'll need to set this up again. You'll need your customer number and date of birth to set up your login using your fingerprint, face recognition, or a passcode.
