What is a certificate of interest?
A certificate of interest is a statement that shows how much interest you’ve earned on your savings over a tax year. The tax year ends on 5 April each year.
You can use a certificate of interest to help you complete your tax return.
If you’ve told us you want to to get a certificate of interest, we’ll send you one in the post. You’ll get it with your annual statement in April or May.
If you manage your account online, you can download or print a certificate of interest. Or contact us to ask for one.
