Repayment Type and Term Amendments

If your client wants to change the term or repayment type of their mortgage, you need to complete a type term change application form

There are times when your clients' circumstances may change, which means they need to make changes to their mortgage term or type. With your help, we try to make this as straight forward as possible. At the moment it is possible for your client to make changes to their term under the terms of the Mortgage Charter. More information is available on our Mortgage Charter page.

If your client wants to switch to Interest Only on a temporary basis under the terms of the Mortgage Charter, please complete the Mortgage Charter form.
 

Please note we cannot accept handwritten applications. However the form is editable so you can fill it in on your computer. For help with this, please read our 'Editable PDFs' guide.

If you are using an Apple Mac Book please call our Variations team on 0345 166 9267 for support on how to submit the application in an editable format. 

Any handwritten applications will be rejected.

Common errors that prevent the application from being processed:

  • Incorrect/missing introducer details.
  • Consent boxes not being ticked.
  • Missing Direct Debit details.

Please make sure you include the above as part of the application to avoid delays.

Once we’ve received everything, we’ll allocate the application to a dedicated underwriter, who  will call you to discuss how we can issue a mortgage offer as soon as possible.

They will also give you a direct contact number and email address so they can answer any questions you may have.

Clients also need a product transfer?

If your customer wants to amend an aspect of the account as well as changing product, use this form to apply for both changes at the same time.
